New Sunnies!

I did it! I finally bought myself a pair of proper sturdy sunnies! Well, it only took me about 5 years of living in sunny Australia to realise how cheap $10 ones from the market won't work. They squish the sides of my face and I look extra silly wearing them over my glasses. Yes I am that girl who walks around wearing two glasses at once. Shhh, don't tell anyone! Haha. So I finally decided, with my 2nd pay check, that I needed sunglasses. Proper grown-up ones. Karen Walker ones no less! I heard they're super sturdy and can get thrown around a lot and still not break. Great for someone like me!

I've been eyeing the No. 1s since they first came out. I can't even count the number of times I've tried them on in stores! Every time it's 'No Dawn. Walk away...walk away..." I think it's been 2 years of wanting? And today, I finally did it! I bought them and even went to get special prescription lenses made so I can wear them and not be blind. Ah. It feels good to know I can now have fun in the sun without having to squint. Yay!
