  6. I want a zine!

& I basically live on PB&J, the J standing for strawberry jam. Sometimes I like to put potato chips in it too to make it crunchy. Am I weird?

If I can't have a PB&J, then I usually roll with Turkey, Cheddar, Lettuce, Tomato, & Mayo in any form of bread, preferably a croissant.

  10. Oh I like so many different ones but have a particular soft spot for the Vietnamese pork roll - White roll with margarine, funny pasty spread stuff, Vietnamese cold meats, grated carrot, pickledy onions, coriander, chilli and special sauces.

I also loved the icecream sandwich that I had in Singapore - had mango icecream with greenish bread.

My quite boring answer: plain rye bread toasted with some butter(you can't get rye bread like that here!lucky my brother brought some with him when he came to visit). Oh my, even thinking of it is making me hungry and happy. Happy and hungry!

  21. i always make the weirdest sandwiches -anything that crosses my mind would be the filling- my fav, although, would be: chocolate with peanut butter and cheese plus some chillie powder/chillie sauce (just to make it spicy)

i know it sounds so disgusting, but once you take a bite out of it.. gosh, it feels like heaven.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Anything that my mum/love ones make! Preferably something cheesy with a few pieces of mushroom!

  33. The best thing about sandwiches are that they're so simple. It's a simple food - so easy to make one and so yummy to have one. I enjoy tuna sandwich ( as in fresh tuna from the can ) with lots of tomatoes and cucumber. And I like it very much when I use the whole wheat bread rather than the normal ones. But sandwiches are simply amazing because in my family, having sandwiches would pretty much involve everyone in the making process. I cherish those happy significant moments.

  34. the turkey special from the cafe across the road (turkey, swiss cheese, avocado, lettuce and cranberry sauce. lots of cranberry sauce).

  35. The illustrations are so pretty!

  36. Lovely pictures :)
I like slow roast vegetables - it seems very decadent to have a sandwich filling that takes so long... with rocket maybe. Of course pulled pork and sour apple sauce is delicious.

This might not count as a sandwich, but last year I had fun making wraps with wholemeal tortillas spread with dark chocolate sauce, a dessert pot of trifle (yes the whole thing - cream, custard jelly), fresh fruit and whipped cream....

  37. fluffer nutter: peanut butter with fluff marshmallow spread on toasted thick white bread,
    i love sandwiches too!
